Boondah Sports Precinct is shaping up to be a real crowd-pleaser for the community with a major revamp of the fields, aiming to give everyone a bit more room to play and enjoy their favourite activities. Now is your chance to chip in with any extra ideas.

What’s in the pipeline? The plans include an extra senior soccer pitch, 2 cricket fields, and 6 new multipurpose hard courts. There’ll also be a freshened-up amenities block and upgraded paths, making it easier for everyone to get around. The redesign isn’t just for footballers or cricketers though - softball and school groups are still catered for, plus there’ll be plenty of space for casual games and laid-back afternoons.

All of this is alongside the new Warriewood Community Centre set to be open in early 2026.

All these upgrades are funded by Development Contributions, so they’re a smart investment in the future of sports and community life in the area.

Now, the ball’s in your court. Community feedback is a big part of getting this right and making sure the Sports Precinct is something everyone can be proud of, not just now but for years to come. The transformation is linked to the Warriewood Valley Development contributions plan, and once the designs are set, changes will be rolled out with care to keep disruption to a minimum.
