Now’s the chance to have your say on the Draft Northern Beaches Events Strategy 2026 - 2035 (Strategy) and help shape how the community will come together over the next decade.

Thousands of locals and visitors get along to the 40 plus Council events held every year with many more connecting at our Libraries, Manly Art Gallery & Museum, Glen Street Theatre, Waste Education and Aquatic Centre events too. Plus, our Grant funded events that see our public places activated with culture and creativity for all to enjoy.

The aim of the Strategy is to make sure events continue to meet the needs of our community through connecting our people and places, promoting environmental awareness and driving a vibrant visitor economy.

This Strategy highlights the need for social connection, inclusion, cultural and creative events. There’s also a renewed commitment to sustainability and supporting third party organisers through the Events Grants and Sponsorship Program.

Events like the Christmas Carols, Manly Jazz and Pittwater Ocean Swim Series have always played a huge role in making the Northern Beaches a fantastic place to live, work and play. Together, let's continue to make these events inclusive, safe and sustainable for our community and visitors.

Check out the Strategy on the Your Say page and share your ideas - every voice helps make sure the Strategy matches what people want for the future.
