The countdown is on for artists and designers across Australia to submit their entries to the 2024 Environment Art & Design Prize, presented by Northern Beaches Council.
With submissions closing on 19 May 2024, artists and designers have the opportunity to be showcased in this thought-provoking exhibition that explores the theme of the environment and inspires action toward a sustainable future.
Northern Beaches Council Mayor Sue Heins said Council looking forward to seeing a diversity of submissions to the Environment Art & Design Prize.
“With around 10 days remaining, we urge artists to seize this opportunity to share their unique visions. Don't miss out on the chance to be part of this significant annual event and join a community of artists dedicated to making a difference through their creativity,” Mayor Heins said.

Renowned experts in their respective fields, including fashion designer Genevieve Smart, industrial designer Trent Jansen, and visual artist Khaled Sabsabi, will serve as judges for this year's competition.
Finalists will be announced on 28 May, with the winners revealed on 1 August 2024.
This year, the prize money has seen an increase across the categories, with the visual arts and design winners each receiving an impressive $20,000. Additionally, the people’s choice and the young artist/designer categories are each allocated $3,000.
Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their works in an exclusive exhibition across three galleries: Manly Art Gallery & Museum (MAG&M), Curl Curl Creative Space, and Mona Vale Creative Space Gallery from 2 to 25 August 2024.
Now in its fourth year, the Northern Beaches Environment Art & Design Prize continues to attract some of the finest creative minds in the country. With limited time left until the submission deadline, artists are encouraged to submit them for consideration.
