Council is inviting feedback on the Community Strategic Plan 2040.

The Northern Beaches Community Strategic Plan captures our community’s vision, aspirations and goals for the local area.

It identifies key social, economic, environmental and civic priorities. It also outlines the strategies to achieve these goals.

“The Community Strategic Plan guides everything we do at Council,” Mayor Sue Heins said.

“The plan helps us ensure our plans, policies and budget meet the expectations and aspirations of our community.

“We invite you to have your say on the latest plan – together we can deliver on our shared vision for the Northern Beaches.”

The Community Strategic Plan is required to be reviewed after ordinary Council elections.

At the October Council meeting, Council endorsed the latest State of the Region report which detailed the progress made so far on implementing the Community Strategic Plan.

The report confirmed that almost all of the measures in the Community Strategic Plan are trending in the right direction with 87% on track.
