What does the Northern Beaches mean to you in 2017? For the month of September, Northern Beaches Council is running a photographic competition so you can showcase your images.

For a chance to win one of four $200 prizes, simply take a snap of your Northern Beaches in 2017; share it on the social media platform Instagram and hashtag #northernbeaches2017.

Council General Manager Customer & Corporate Helen Lever said the competition is a wonderful way to capture the spirit of our local area. 

“In celebration of History Week, we want to showcase the unique 2017 Northern Beaches and its vibrant community for future generations to look back on.

“We’re looking for entries which represent our flourishing Northern Beaches’ culture,” Ms Lever said.

A maximum of 10 entries applies per person. Photos can illustrate the Northern Beaches’ lifestyle, heritage, culture, events, music, technology, sports, arts, or anything in between.

Selected entries will be included in an exhibition, with competition winners announced at the exhibition launch.
