'Meals on Wheels' has released its new summer menu and with over 70 options it caters for a wide variety of tastes and dietary requirements.
Volunteers deliver the meals Monday to Friday and the meals can be delivered hot and ready to eat, chilled or frozen and include salads, sandwiches and omelettes to choose from.
Clients can choose to have from one to seven meals delivered a week, that are nutritionally balanced and cater to a variety of preferences and dietary requirements.
The 'Meals on Wheels' service relieves the hassle of having to shop, prepare a meal, and wash up afterwards.
The added bonus is a visit from a friendly volunteer who delivers the meal, which is particularly important part of the service for elderly people living alone and people with a disability.
'Meals on Wheels' has recently expanded its delivery from Manly to the suburbs of Manly Vale, Freshwater, Queenscliff and North Manly, as well as delivering to Manly, Fairlight, Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights, Clontarf, and Seaforth.
