Australia’s longest running jazz festival returns to Manly this September (Friday 20 – Sunday 22) with over 70 acts including world-class performers for an unforgettable weekend for jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike.

Northern Beaches Council is very proud to present Manly Jazz 2024.

Council’s hugely popular jazz festival features a dynamic and diverse program that celebrates the rich tradition and evolving future of jazz music with performances set to take place across four outdoor stages and in-venues in and around Manly.

As a bonus, this year’s festival will see the addition of a Jazz Garden by local brewer Bucketty’s bringing their range of brews and a unique vibe to The Corso. It will be the perfect place to relax, listen to great music, and enjoy an amazing range of food and drinks.

Across the three-day event see renowned artists at the Beachfront Stage or emerging talent on the Jazz Stars of the Future Stage outside Manly Town Hall as well as the Sydney Road Stage and an indoor stage inside St Matthews Church in The Corso.

One of the hottest jazz ensembles, Hot Potato Band will return, and other headline acts include the Funkophilia, Flashy Dashbacks Organ Trio, Blue Rhythm Band, Dan Barnett Big Band, Spyglass Gypsies,  and more.

The Hot Potato Band will also be running a workshop from 12.30 – 1.30pm on Sunday for those wanting to be a part of the Jazz Parade at 3pm bringing big vibes and great music down The Corso.

Artistic Director Caroline Speight said she’s looking forward to sharing the joy and excitement of live jazz with the community.
“Manly Jazz has a long-standing reputation for bringing high quality jazz to the community,” Ms Speight said.

“It’s exciting that the Northern Beaches community and visitors will gather to enjoy the great artform of jazz in a variety of styles across the weekend.”
