  • How do people influence places and the management of spaces within them?
  • How do sudden and geological changes and extreme weather events affect the Earth’s surface?

Learning experiences

Fisherman’s Beach/Long Reef Headland

The students will get to use scientific measuring equipment to measure the weather, which helps them explore the natural processes that change this landscape. They will gain knowledge of natural and manmade weathering and erosion during a guided walk by our experience educators. Using this knowledge they have gained during the day the students will examine some of the management processes used to both protect the natural environment and cater for the various user groups.
