Performers
We are excited to bring you an exciting line up of performers for this year's concert.
Scott Irwin - Host
Scott is one of Australia's leading performers, boasting over 20 years of impressive roles. Notable performances include Corny Collins in Hairspray (Helpmann Award nominee), Gaston in Beauty and the Beast (Mo Award nominee), and Sam in Mamma Mia (2019). He has also played Enjolras in Les Miserables, King Arthur in Camelot, and Billy Bigelow in Carousel, showcasing his versatility.
Recently, Scott was a featured singer in the Australian premier of Boubil and Schönberg’s Do You Hear The People Sing at Hamer Hall and the Sydney Opera House. Earlier in 2022, he reprised his role in Mamma Mia for Neil Gooding Productions. His extensive credits include Grease, The New Rocky Horror Show, and High School Musical, among others.
Beyond musical theatre, Scott portrayed Lieutenant Schrank in Opera Australia's West Side Story on Sydney Harbour and starred in the premier of A Sign of the Times. He also toured as Vernon Gersch in They're Playing Our Song and played Mack Sennett in Mack and Mabel.
Returning to the Christmas Choral Concert stage, we look forward to getting into the Christmas spirit with Scott!
Ashleigh Rubenach - Performer
Musical theatre Leading Lady Ashleigh Rubenach grew up right here on Sydney's North Shore. She most recently played Better Schaefer in Sunset Boulevard for Opera Australia and Nancy in the hit musical Groundhog Day at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne. Ashleigh starred as Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Sydney Opera House and before that toured Australia as Milo Davenport in the Broadway-hit musical An American in Paris. Other stage credits include Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, Muriel's Wedding and The Sound of Music.
Ashleigh won a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Actress for her role as Allison in Cry-Baby.

Cameron Daddo - Performer
Cameron Daddo, a Northern Beaches local, began his multi-award winning entertainment career over 30 years ago. He has excelled in acting, producing, directing, and musical theatre, while also being a published singer/songwriter and magazine columnist.
Previously splitting his time between the US and Australia, Cameron's stage credits include Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, and roles in Legally Blonde, along with TV performances in Beaconsfield and as Adam Goodman in Packed to the Rafters.
Currently, you can catch Cameron 7 nights a week on his top-rated Smooth FM radio show, stream his new music on Spotify, and watch him host Luxury Escapes TV.
We're excited to welcome him as he celebrates Christmas at the Northern Beaches Council Christmas Choral Concert.
Danielle Barnes – Performer
In her 30-year career, Danielle has showcased remarkable versatility, performing across genres from 70s disco to classical and comedy to straight theatre.
Most recently, she reprised her role as Caroline in Belvoir's Fangirls, earning a nomination for a 2022 Green Room Award for Best Supporting Artist. Her past credits include Polly in Dream Lover, Mama in Dogfight, and Sonia Walsk in They're Playing Our Song, alongside her husband Scott Irwin. Danielle also travelled to Beijing to perform in the bilingual Cho Cho with the National Theatre of China.
Highlights from the last decade feature roles in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Fat Swan, and Carousel opposite David Campbell. Her extensive credits also include The Boy from Oz, Sweet Charity, and Hello Dolly, along with numerous concerts and corporate events, including the MO Award-winning Damn Good Divas.
We are thrilled to welcome Danielle back to the stage for another Christmas Choral Concert with the Northern Beaches Council.
Monique Raso – Performer
Monique Raso is a 19-year-old singer songwriter from the Northern Beaches, passionate about music and performing live. She sings and plays the piano, and you'll find her gigging all around Sydney at restaurants, corporate events, functions, weddings and renowned locations like the Sydney Opera House, ICC Sydney Theatre and the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
She sings a blend of soul, pop and R&B music. This year, Monique was a graduate for the selective and prestigious NSW music program 'Talent Development Project', and also currently studying music.
Monique is so excited to perform for you all again on this special night!
Tilli Kay – Performer
Described by many as an 'old soul', 20 year old indie rock singer-songwriter Tilli Kay has been leaving her mark on Sydney's music scene. Currently a student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Tilli showcases the depth of a rising local talent.
After recently opening for Jessica Mauboy in Sydney, she's back to share her music with you once more. We look forward to welcoming Tilli Kay back for her 7th year at the Christmas Choral Concert.
