Co-created by the We Belong Intercultural Community Leaders, the Story of Us: Intercultural Fair was a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity in the Northern Beaches, bringing our many cultures, perspectives and traditions to life.

Some highlights of this 4-hour event included:

• Community stalls to explore and learn more about community initiatives
• Face painting fun for kids 
• Living Library – featuring community members as living ‘books’ sharing their incredible real-life stories
• Cultural performances – Filipino, Flamenco, Chinese dances and Holi, showcasing the rich heritage of our community
• Ngumpie weaving workshop teaching traditional Aboriginal techniques 
• Interactive Story Trees 
• A guided meditation session to unwind and recharge
