Now in its fifth year, the annual prize has become one of Australia’s leading competitions for both art and design with an environmental focus.

Entries have now closed for the 2025 Northern Beaches Environmental Art & Design Prize. Discover our finalists, who will be showcasing in an exhibition across 3 Northern Beaches venues, from 1 August to 14 September 2025.

Prize winners

Prize winners will be announced on Thursday 31 July at 6.30pm.

There’s a $46,000 prize pool across 4 categories:

• $20,000 – Art
• $20,000 - Design
• $3,000 - Young
• $3,000 - People’s Choice

Approximately 80% of the prize money is funded by our generous sponsors and application fees.

Exhibition  

The exhibition will be presented across 3 venues from 1 August to 14 September, Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm:

• Manly Art Gallery & Museum
• Curl Curl Creative Space
• Mona Vale Creative Space Gallery
