Accessibility on the Northern Beaches is being constantly improved, and public facilities are becoming more easily accessible for people with impaired or reduced mobility, such as people using walking aids, wheelchair, scooter and pram users, and people with vision impairment.
We have developed an interactive map so you can explore the accessible features of your local area. Use this tool to locate inclusive playgrounds, mobility parking, accessible toilets and much more!
Having issues with the map? Let us know: disability@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au
You may need to check your phone settings (Location Services) to use some features.
Mobility parking scheme permits
Vehicles displaying a valid mobility parking permit don’t need a beach parking permit and are exempt from paying at Pay and Display meters.
This can either be a permit issued by NSW Roads & Maritime Service or a nationally recognised permit through the Australian Disability Parking Scheme (ADPS).
