The Crown of Newport Reserve is located in a sheltered gully between Newport Beach and Bilgola Plateau.
The reserve supports four vegetation types and a range of native animals including threatened powerful owls. The winter flowering spotted gum provides an essential food resource for species such as sugar gliders and ring-tailed possums.
