JJ Melbourne Hills Memorial Reserve is located within the suburb of Terry Hills.
The reserve supports varied flora and fauna including threatened plant species and forms part of a wildlife corridor linking to Garigal and Ku-ring-gai National Parks.
Vegetation
JJ Hills supports three vegetation communities; Sydney Coastal Dry Sclerophyll Forest which includes the Threatened Duffys Forest Ecological Community, Coastal Heath Swamp and Sydney Coastal Heath. Three threatened flora species can be found on site, Grevillea caleyi, Epacris purpurascens var. purpurascens and Tetratheca glandulosa.
Fauna
Within the reserve is an abundance of native fauna due to the reserve supporting core habitat and providing linkages to adjacent National Parks.
