Great Mackerel Beach is located on Pittwater and accessible by water. The dog off-leash area is located between the public wharf and the northern boundary of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

Off-Leash Hours and Information 

• Dogs are permitted in the off-leash area between:

  • sunrise and 9:30am

  • 5pm and sunset.

• At other times within the dog off-leash area the shortest direct route with a dog on-leash is to be taken across the beach between boats and the grassed strip.
