Are we watching the whales, or are the whales watching us?

Either way, June is one of our favourite months as these gentle giants make their way from their rich feeding grounds in Antarctica to the warmer waters of their breeding grounds up north.

The Coastal Environment Centre is collaborating with ORCCA to help with their 25th whale census day.

Join us on Long Reef headland and help us count whales. While you are there, you can find out why whale poo is so important for our oceans, why whales sing, and what we can learn from whale snot.
