Wednesday, 26 February 2025 - 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm

Join us for a vibrant celebration of queer joy, community, and connection as we honour every version of you—past, present, and future.

This Mardi Gras, we’ve invited Claud Bailey from Transmedium to curate a special event. Whether you come dressed as who you once were, who you are now, or who you hope to be, this event is about celebrating your journey and embracing all versions of yourself.

We’ll kick off the evening with the screening of Right Here, a short film that had its premiere at the Sydney Film Festival 2022. The film follows Grace, a non-binary teen, as they discover that everything they want to be is already inside of them. Featuring Zoe Terakes (Talk to Me, Wentworth) and Aud Mason-Hyde (Jimpa, F**king Adelaide), it’s a love letter to queer youth and a reflection for all ages on the strength it takes to live authentically.

After the screening, stay for a panel discussion with queer and trans artists and advocates who will share their stories of resilience. Throughout the night, guests are invited to contribute to an intergenerational mural - a space for creative expression and community connection. Enjoy refreshments, mingle, chat, reflect and dance!

Who Should Attend?

This event is for all members of the LGBTQIA+SB community across the Northern Beaches (and beyond), with a focus on creating an intergenerational space. We welcome queer youth, families, older generations, and allies to join us in celebrating queer joy, connection, and community.

Tickets include tasty light refreshments.
