The Northern Beaches Art Society Inc. are excited be to presenting the 78th Annual Awards Art Exhibition and Sale, at The Creative Space, Curl Curl – 105 Abbott Road, Curl Curl. 

The exhibition will be held from Tuesday 1 to Sunday 13 October, 2024. As usual entry to the exhibition is FREE and will be open from 10am to 4pm daily. The Official Opening will be from 6pm to 8pm on Friday 4 October. 

Their enthusiastic members, who are all local artists, will be vying for 3 major awards, which will be presented on Opening Night. As with all our exhibition openings, drinks will be served from 6pm. All the paintings will be for sale and any sold paintings can be picked up after 4pm on Sunday 13 October. 

Our exhibitions are always curated so viewers can have the most enjoyable experience while they see the vast array of works on display. The works will be in a variety of mediums and styles such as oils, watercolours, acrylics, and pastels as well as drawings covering a plethora of subjects. 

As usual there will be the People’s Choice Award. However, the Art Society is very much aware of how difficult it is to choose just one of the paintings on display so, visitors will be able to vote for their two favourite paintings. The two artists who gain the most votes for their painting, will also be awarded prizes, at the end of the exhibition. Also, at this exhibition, visitors will be able to purchase tickets in the raffle to win a beautiful painting “Blue Wrens” by Catherine Feder. All the funds from the raffle will be donated to Mission Australia for Victims of Domestic and Family Violence.
