The Northern Beaches Readers festival is a three-day celebration, from 27-29th September, of popular Australian fiction. Held at the Avalon Recreation Centre, this year's festival features 50 authors, spanning the genres of crime, romance, women's fiction, magical realism, historical fiction and more. Highlights for 2024 include an appearance by renowned crime author, Michael Robotham, and Miles Franklin winner, Shankari Chandran. The festival consists of 24 carefully curated sessions, ranging from author panels, to 'in-conversation' events, a festival book club and workshops for aspiring writers. Attendees will have the chance to meet with and have their books signed by their favourite authors
