Sunday, 16 March 2025 - 10:00 am to 02:00 pm

Join us for the Story of Us: Intercultural Fair on Sunday 16 March at Tramshed Narrabeen! Four intercultural community initiatives are being co-created by the We Belong Intercultural Community Leaders for Harmony Week in March 2025. They will bring together different cultures, increase awareness and knowledge of community experiences, and enhance social and cultural inclusion on the Northern Beaches.

We invite you to join the Story of Us, a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity on the Northern Beaches! Some highlights of this free 4-hour event:

  • Community stalls to explore and learn more about community initiatives
  • Face painting fun for kids
  • Living Library – Meet living ‘books’ and hear their incredible real-life stories
  • Cultural performances – Filipino dances and Holi, showcasing the rich heritage of our community
  • Aboriginal weaving workshop – Create your own bracelet!
  • Interactive Story Trees and an oral history trail – discover fascinating stories and add your own!
  • Inspirational speaker – Hear from an incredible community member about their journey to the Northern Beaches
  • Guided meditation session – Unwind and recharge

The Story of Us: Intercultural Fair is a project created by Northern Beaches locals from diverse backgrounds as part of the We Belong: Intercultural Community Leaders Program, bringing our many cultures, perspectives and traditions to life. Come along to the event and you’ll have the opportunity to join in on the projects.
