Warami, Hi, Buna!

My name is Daniela but the children call me Dana. I have operated my family day care service since 2014, prior to that I worked in a long day care service. I have a Certificate III in Children’s Services and I am a mother of three children. I love being able to share my home with the children and families as they become extended family.

I am from Romania and my husband is from Egypt but we have called Australia home since the beginning of 2011. We speak English at home but also encourage our own children to speak our native languages. I like to share my culture with the children in care too by teaching some simple words in Romanian…it is amazing how quickly they pick it up!

I have a large outdoor space that offers plenty of opportunities for children to play, discover and explore in a natural space.

Music is one of my passions and we have plenty of opportunities for singing and dancing each day. Reading is also a special time to engage with literacy and listen to new stories during our daily educational program.
