Early Childhood Education and Care – 0-6 years

Choosing the right child care can sometimes be an overwhelming time for you and your child. It’s important to consider your options early and think about the type of early education and care that suits your family best and will provide the best outcomes for your child.

Starting Blocks from the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority, has information about early childhood education and care which can help you make the best choice for your child and family.

Long Day Care or Family Day Care

We have long day care centres located at Belrose, Brookvale, Dee Why, Fairlight, Narrabeen and Seaforth. The educational programs are child centred, providing opportunities for each child to develop and learn through play. Pre-schoolers participate in a quality pre-school program within our long day care centres

Alternatively, small group, home-based care is offered through experienced family day care Educators, co-ordinated through Council. Educators care for up to 4 children in their own home where young children learn through play and social interaction.
