Hi, my name is Sonia and I have been an early childhood Educator for the past 16 years.

I have been running my family day care for 7 years, but previously I worked for the council’s long day care centre for 9 years.

I have completed my certificate 3 in Children’s Service through TAFE.

I'm a mother of 3 children and my husband and I are from South America. I love sharing my culture with the children in my care, exposing them to the language, different food, and music.

I enjoy setting up my environment with natural resources as much as possible as I believe they create a calm space for children to learn and grow.

Music is one of my passions, the children in my care have the opportunity to listen to many songs and play violin with my daughter.

I love being able to share my home with the children and families who come into my care, eventually, they all become like an extended family.

I look forward to welcoming Families into Beacon Hill FDC.
