Currawong offers you a uniquely secluded experience because it can only be accessed by water.
Take a 25-minute ferry ride from Palm Beach Wharf on Barrenjoey Road, or book the barge or water taxi.
If you are arriving by boat please book in advance one of the two slip ropes (for smaller boats) or the deep water mooring. Vessels are tied-up entirely at the permit holder’s own risk and Council does not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of the vessel or mooring apparatus. Council does not accept any responsibility for any damage to a vessel tied to or in the vicinity of the wharf.

What to bring
Currawong is self-catered and has no shops so please bring your own supplies and beach towels.
Pack your sports equipment too as we’ve only a limited choice to loan. Bring a good torch as it gets very dark at night.
There’s mobile phone coverage but no television.
Things you should know
Please be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10pm noise curfew. No loud music at any time.
Accommodation must be left clean and tidy on departure. If no attempt is made to tidy after your stay, a cleaning fee may be applicable.
As Currawong is located in a bushland setting, there can be ticks about so it is wise to bring insect repellent and be aware of the recommended tick removal methods.
