Welcome to Boccia at the Bowlo! Join us at the Newport Bowling Club for a fun-filled day of boccia games and friendly competition. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, this event is perfect for anyone looking to have a good time. So grab your friends and family, and come on down for a day of boccia fun at the Bowlo!

Boccia is an inclusive target sport played by individuals, pairs, or teams where players throw or roll colored balls as close as possible to a white target ball to score points. While a Paralympic sport designed for people with physical disabilities, it can be adapted for players of all abilities.

We will teach you the basics on the day, however, Boccia is similar to lawn bowls, played with soft leather balls. It's a target game where players aim to get their balls closer to the jack (white ball) than their opponent's balls.
