A special morning tea for informal carers who look after someone with a disability, mental health condition, medical condition or someone who is frail aged.

This free event is part of National Carers Week (12 to 18 October) - a time to recognise and celebrate the important contributions carers make to our society.

The morning tea is an opportunity to have some fun, connect with other carers, and find useful information, featuring:

  • A yummy morning tea with time to socialise with other carers.
  • A Laughter Yoga session
  • A short, fun trivia quiz.
  • A presentation about Carer Gateway supports by Carer Gateway provider, Benevolent Society.
  • Lucky door prizes and giveaways.
