Christmas Choral Concert is returning to Manly Oval to ignite your festive spirit!
Join us for your favourite carols performed by the Northern Beaches Orchestra, our Community Christmas Choir and local artists alongside festive activities for the whole family. There will be free popcorn for the first 2,000 attendees courtesy of our Event Partner Cunninghams Real Estate and even a visit from Santa himself!
Concert starts at 6.30pm, gates open 5pm.
Pack your own picnic, grab takeaway from one of Manly's many restaurants, or treat yourself to something delicious from the food trucks onsite.
We want everyone to be safe at our Christmas events - please make sure to pick up a free ID wristband for your child/ren at the entry gates or from the information tent.

Performers
Scott Irwin, Soloist Director and MC
Scott is one of Australia's leading performers, boasting over 30 years of impressive roles. Notable performances include Corny Collins in Hairspray (Helpmann Award nominee), Gaston in Beauty and the Beast (Mo Award nominee), and Enjolras in Les Miserables. He also played King Arthur in Camelot, and Billy Bigelow in Carousel, showcasing his strength and versatility.
Most recently, Scott portrayed Lieutenant Schrank in Opera Australia's West Side Story on Sydney Harbour and was a featured singer in the Australian premier of Boubil and Schönberg’s Do You Hear The People Sing at Hamer Hall and the Sydney Opera House. Earlier in 2022, he played Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia for Neil Gooding Productions. Other professional credits include Grease, The New Rocky Horror Show, High School Musical, They’re Playing Our Song, Mack & Mabel, Company, The Full Monty and Truth, Beauty & a Picture of You among many others.
Beyond musical theatre, Scott has starred in the world premiere of one man show A Sign of the Times and Secret Bridesmaid’s Business. He has appeared in several films, such as Razzle Dazzle and My Pet Dinosaur and is a veteran of hundreds of concerts and corporate events.
Returning to the Christmas Choral Concert stage, we look forward to getting into the Christmas spirit with Scott!
Cameron Daddo
Cameron Daddo, a Northern Beaches local, began his multi-award winning entertainment career over 30 years ago. He has excelled in acting, producing, directing, and musical theatre, while also being a published singer/songwriter and magazine columnist.
Previously splitting his time between the US and Australia, Cameron's stage credits include Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, and roles in Legally Blonde, along with TV performances in Beaconsfield and as Adam Goodman in Packed to the Rafters.
Currently, you can catch Cameron 7 nights a week on his top-rated Smooth FM radio show, stream his new music on Spotify, and watch him host Luxury Escapes TV.
We're excited to welcome him as he celebrates Christmas at the Northern Beaches Council Christmas Choral Concert.
Danielle Barnes
Over the past 30 years, Danielle has forged a career as one of Australia’s most versatile entertainers starring as a singer, an actor & a dancer. Recently, Danielle performed as a featured singer in the Australian premier of Boubil and Schonberg’s Concert series ‘Do You Hear The People Sing’ at Hamer Hall and The Sydney Opera House.
Prior to that she reprised the role of Caroline in Belvoir’s Sydney Opera House production of ‘Fangirls’ of which she was nominated for a 2022 Green Room Award in the Best Supporting Artist category. Her previous credits include the Gordon Frost production of ‘Dream Lover’, the Hayes Theatre Company’s production of ‘Dogfight’ as Mama, and a national tour of ‘They’re Playing Our Song’ as Sonia Walsk opposite her husband Scott Irwin.
Just prior to that she travelled to Beijing to create and perform in the bilingual ‘Cho Cho’ with the National Theatre of China. Highlights from the last decade include ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’ as ‘Marion’, Mila Kuntz in ‘Fat Swan’, Julie Jordan in ‘Carousel’ opposite David Campbell, Nikki Burns in ’Oh! What a Night!’ opposite Martin Crewes, and Maria Elena Holly in ‘Buddy!’.

Annelise Hall
Annelise is a professional musical theatre performer, film actor, vocal coach and business owner. Annelise’s most recent work includes playing Sandy in the National Tour of Grease the Musical with Xroads Live.
Prior to this Annelise toured Australia as the leading female role of ‘Hope’ in the new Australian musical, ‘The Marvellous Elephant Man’, winning an Adelaide fringe award. During this time, Annelise was also cast as Izzy in the Australian film, ‘Moonrise over Knight’s Hill’, which filmed down on the Southern Highlands. After high school, Annelise moved to Queensland where she studied a Bachelor of Musical Theatre.
Before moving back to Sydney, she played Sophie in Mamma Mia produced by The Show Co on the Sunshine Coast as well as another production of Sandy in Grease at QPAC. Annelise has sung for Channel 9’s Carols by Candlelight in Melbourne and The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols in Brisbane. Annelise is a trauma-informed vocal practitioner and rehabilitation coach, hugely passionate about vocal coaching and directing.
Annelise is the director of The Social Choir, a group based in Manly where community members sing a new song each week with a live band and find the opportunity to connect with other like minded individuals. Annelise is excited and honored to be singing at the Christmas Choral Concert.
Jayden Stewart
A young singer, songwriter, and artist from the Northern Beaches, Jayden has been actively involved in the local music scene for several years. With a deep passion for music and performance, he enjoys sharing his songs with family, friends, and audiences at local venues.
We look forward to welcoming Jayden as one of our featured youth soloists at the Christmas Choral Concert.
Josh Evans
Josh Evans is an indie-rock artist from the Northern Beaches, delivering energetic, soul-infused anthems inspired by Kings of Leon, Sam Fender, and Matt Corby. His debut single You and Me captures his signature blend of heartfelt lyrics and danceable grooves. Known for his electric stage presence, Josh brings raw passion and high energy to every live show — the kind that gets crowds moving and and singing along! Josh is excited to set aside his regular sound as a guitar-driven indie-rock artist to share the joy by singing some Christmas classics
