There are a number of ways the Northern Beaches is becoming more accessible and inclusive than ever. Being inclusive is all about adapting the way that products and services are provided to suit the needs of the whole community.
Disability Inclusion Award
As part of the Northern Beaches Local Business Awards, Northern Beaches Council has the honour of sponsoring the Disability Inclusion Award. One in five Australians has some kind of disability, so making your business accessible and inclusive is good for business and for the community. Other customers that benefit from improved access include older people, families with young children, and local and overseas visitors with disability.
The Winner and Finalists will be announced at the 2024 Northern Beaches Local Business Awards Gala Presentation Evening at Dee Why RSL on Wednesday 10 July.
