The Big Ideas Forum is a regular community event held at Glen Street Theatre, engaging our local community in the robust exchange of ideas.
The Forum is an opportunity to engage with people you might not otherwise meet, hear opinions you might not otherwise hear, and come away from the experience an active participant in democracy, rather than a passive observer.
Big Ideas Forum – a celebration of community
5 November, 6.30 - 8pm, Glen Street Theatre, Belrose
Social psychologist and bestselling author Hugh Mackay returns to share highly personal reflections on some of the world’s greatest thinkers and writers in his latest book 'Just Saying'. It explores themes including the problem of social isolation, the challenges of difference and the role of kindness in building cohesive communities.
