Welcome to our online system for residential, multi-use and business parking permits for those living in the Manly area.
The Manly Parking Permit Scheme Framework aims to improve parking for residents and other users in locations where there is insufficient off-street parking and where on-street parking is restricted. The Scheme was adopted by Council in 2019.
Eligibility
Motorcycles and scooters do not need to display a Manly parking permit when parked legally in a scheme area.
Council will no longer issue boat, trailer or caravan parking permits through the Manly parking permit scheme. Now into its fourth year, it was developed in consultation with the Manly residential and business community to address the parking demands in the Manly area.
Not all properties are eligible for a permit. These include:
- Properties that have parking permit eligibility excluded as part of their consent
- Your property is not within a prescribed scheme area

Note - this scheme does not affect beach parking permits.
You are unable to apply online for certain property types i.e. mixed business / residential building, company title, community title, dual occupancy or non-strata. You will need to email or mail your application form.

The fees and charges below are valid until 30 June 2025.

- 1st permit issued to property - $53 (concession $26.50)
- 2nd permit issued to property - $117 (concession $58.50)
- 3rd permit issued to property - $117
- Replacement Multi-use permit - $243
- 4th permit residential/multi-use (extenuating circumstances only) - $296
Car share, special issue, business and support worker permits
- Car share permit - $243
- Special issue not-for-profit organisation permit - $28
- Business permit - $243
