Every week Northern Beaches rubbish collection services come around to empty bins on your street. Recycling is collected either weekly or on alternate weeks and vegetation fortnightly depending on your address. Our fleet of trucks have fully enclosed hoppers to prevent litter and reduce odour.
To ensure collection
- Place bins out the night before collection day and bring them in within 24 hours
- Bins should be on the kerb, at least 20cm apart and lid openings facing the street
- Close bin lid flat to avoid windblown litter, spillage when emptying bins and foraging from birds and other animals
- Collection can occur at any time between 6am and 6pm on the scheduled collection day
